About us

Spandana Association is a non-profit organisation run by local volunteers. We support families and communities through education, health and relief work, and we try to do it openly, in person, and without middlemen.

Our mission

To support people in need through education, health and relief, and to do it openly and with local volunteers.

How we work

We identify needs through local volunteers, verify each case in person, spend directly on the need (fees, treatment, supplies), and share what was done with our supporters.

What we believe

Closeness

People who live nearby understand a problem best, so our work is led by local volunteers.

Openness

Supporters can ask how their help was used and we will tell them.

Dignity

We help people quietly and respectfully. We ask for consent before sharing any photo or story, especially of children.

Accountability

We keep a record of each case we support and what was spent on it. If you are a donor, a partner or a reviewer and would like details of our registration or our work, write to spandanaadhrv@gmail.com.
